AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
The purpose of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program is to ensure that underserved and uninsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS have access to life-saving medications.

Are you living in Florida and:

  • are HIV Positive and in need of HIV/AIDS medications?
  • are determined eligible to receive HIV/AIDS Patient Care Program Services?
  • are uninsured or do not have adequate prescription coverage?
  • are not confined to a hospital, nursing home, hospice, or correctional facility?

Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA)
HOPWA provides temporary housing assistance to eligible person living with HIV/AIDS. Housing assistance includes short-term rent, mortgage and utilities assistance and supportive services (such as case management).

The HIV Prevention Bilingual Glossary (HPBG) is a collaborative effort to provide linguistic support to individuals and organizations working with Spanish-speaking populations in the U.S.

Partners for the development of this glossary include the Office of Minority Health Resource Center (OMHRC) under the Office of Minority Health (OMH) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) represented by the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) and the Hispanic Leadership Executive Committee (HLEC) at the CDC National Center for HIV, STD, & TB Prevention (NCHSTP) and the CDC Multilingual Services, the National Council of La Raza (NCLR)/ California State University Long Beach (CSULB) Center for Latino Community Health, Evaluation & Leadership Training, as well as HIV/AIDS professionals and expert translators.
