Dear Community Partner:

You are invited to join us for the 9th Annual Miami-Dade Health Action Network Community Health Worker/Promotores Southeast Florida Regional Symposium to celebrate and work towards a stronger partnership through community and partnership building.

This Symposium provides an opportunity for Community Health Workers and Patient Navigators (CHWs/PNs) to receive valuable training and information in English, Spanish and Creole on various topics, information and updates on Florida CHW Certification, as well as while providing an opportunity for CHWs/PNs to network with many representatives from hospitals, nursing homes, insurance companies, community organizations, program funders, and health industry professionals.

The CHW Symposium aims to accomplish the following objectives:

Meet, network and collaborate with community members, service providers and stakeholders in a fun and engaging way.
Bring awareness to the work of CHW's in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Support and promote the statewide CHW certification initiative.
Support the local implementation of CHW training programs and activities of the Florida CHW Coalition, Inc.

Afternoon concurrent training sessions in English and Spanish will be provided, some available for FL CHW certification/renewal credits!
