I am a Prevention Medical Doctor and Scientist wholeheartedly committed to bring hope and help improve the physical, mental health and quality of life persons with cancer, sickle cell disease and other conditions that can be treated with Bone Marrow transplant. I graduated from University of Miami with a B.S. in Microbiology/Immunology, Minor in Psychology and Chemistry; obtained my M.D. at Ponce School of Medicine (LCME accredited US Medical School) and I am FL Board of Medicine House Physician eligible. I have broad experience in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Research, and development/implementation of community health programs.

I am President, CEO and Founder of Familias Unidas International, Inc a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization dedicated to Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in the US and Latin America. We are currently working in the development of a South Florida Multicultural Bone Marrow Registry and in the improvement/maintenance of patients’ and their families’ mental health.
