                          ASCO International Conference- 1st Week of June

     

​                               b.​ Strategic Plan Revisions

                                   Goal 1: Decrease the proportion of Floridians who use tobacco products, with emphasis on                                      prevention of tobacco use among youth.

                                         Strategy 1.1.1- Recruit and train 15 surveillance observers to support point-of-sale                                               compliance with state regulations.

                                         Strategy 1.2.2- Provide education and awareness to at least three (3) public officials                                             to obtain three (3) new resolutions in support of tobacco-free multi-unit housing.

                               c.  Objectives not on schedule

                                          Strategy 2.1.1.- Expand the SFCCC HPV project outreach to three (3) activities per                                                year.

                                          Strategy 3.3.1.-Facilitate three (3) local partnerships, including faith-based                                                            communities, to promote free or low-cost cancer screenings, particularly targeting                                                high risk populations.

                                          Strategy 4.1.1- Create and distribute a list of free, low-cost wellness programs.
