The Miami-Dade Partnerships to Improve Community Health (PICH) Grant is a 3-year grant funded through the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) Division of Community Health. Through a collaborative partnership between the Miami-Dade County Department of Health and the Health Council of South Florida (HCSF), the PICH grant seeks to address:

  • Tobacco use and exposure

  • Poor nutrition

  • Physical activity

  • Lack of access to opportunities for chronic disease prevention, risk reduction, and disease management
