Project READY
Reinforcing Eligibility for Adults, Dependents & Youths

Project READY serves as an access point to Miami-Dade County’s uninsured and low-income adults and children by providing outreach, education, assistance with enrollment into healthcare programs and linkages to social services.

The goal of this program is to break down barriers that limit accessibility and engage with residents who potentially qualify for services. Project READY serves residents county-wide, with particular emphasis in high need areas such as Homestead, Liberty City, Overtown, and Miami Gardens. Residents are enrolled in programs such as Florida Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA), Florida KidCare, Affordable Care Act health plans, and other social services programs. Services are provided in English and Spanish with translation services available in other languages. Funding for this program is provided by the Health Foundation of South Florida.
